Job Title: Field Service Technician III

Sunstate Equipment Co. is a leading provider of heavy construction rental equipment, and we're seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician III to join our team.

About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated and experienced technician to repair and maintain our heavy equipment fleet. As a Field Service Technician III, you'll be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex equipment issues, ensuring our customers receive top-notch service and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain heavy construction rental equipment, including generators, compressors, and aerial lifts
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues, using mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and filter replacements
  • Work independently and as part of a team to meet customer needs and deadlines
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and education
Requirements:
  • At least 3 years of experience in heavy equipment repair and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic schematics
  • DOT medical card required; we can help you obtain one if needed
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
