Job Title: Electrical Field Technician

Rogue Industrial Group is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Field Technician, you will be responsible for supporting day-to-day maintenance and development of automation systems for field locations, including well sites, SWD's, compressor stations, and tank batteries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot instrumentation and PLC equipment
  • Utilize technical skills to troubleshoot pipeline instrumentation, electronics, and electrical components
  • Bring in data from well sites, saltwater disposals, compressor sites, plants, and any field automation into SCADA and alarming systems for alarm history/trending and display
  • Perform electrical equipment installations, calibrations, inspections, and troubleshooting tasks to minimize production impacts and enhance the reliability of the operation
  • Install wiring and conduit as needed
  • Operate and perform activities in accordance with applicable regulations and procedures
Requirements:
  • Experience with Rosemount, Transmitters, and Hart Devices
  • Service maintenance instrumentation/electrical compressor stations
  • Field tech responsibilities with PLC's
  • Experience with Modicon, Allen Bradley, GE MDS, Freewave, Cambium Radio systems, and Unity Pro software is preferred
  • Experience with installing and troubleshooting Coriolis liquid meters is preferred
  • Experience with troubleshooting Serial and Ethernet radio systems
  • A working knowledge of control circuits in PLC, switches, and overload relay
  • Must be within a 75-mile radius of Mentone, TX
  • Must be willing to undergo a background check and driving record check
  • Must be willing and able to pass a DOT drug screening/physical
  • A minimum of 5-year automation experience is required
  • A minimum of 5-years PLC programming experience in oil and gas field operations
  • A minimum of 3-years industrial electrical experience is required

Rogue Industrial Group offers a competitive salary of $50.00 per hour, a company truck, company fuel card, computer, and cell phone, as well as excellent medical benefits, 401K matching, free life insurance, long-term and short-term disability, dental and eye care, and 3 sets of FRCs.

This is a full-time position with a 12-hour shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation maintenance, as well as experience with automation systems and PLC programming.
