Nurse Clinician- Clinical Research Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team in the Clinical Research Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clinical trials, recruiting and screening participants, and ensuring the smooth operation of our research studies.
Key Responsibilities- Administer IV study medication and manage clinical trials
- Recruit and screen participants for clinical trials
- Manage study documents, regulatory requirements, and data entry
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care for participants
- Perform laboratory and other tests as required by the protocol
- Collect, process, and store specimens for clinical trials
- Assess for adverse events and maintain investigational devices
- Develop and implement strategies to prevent future occurrences of negative balances
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a specialized area
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS/BCLS certification
- Completion of CITI Program (learner group 1 FDA regulated research)
- Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or eligibility to take certification exam
- Additional years of nursing experience, specifically in a hospital setting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
- Knowledge of good clinical practices, IRB requirements, patient evaluation procedures, and medical terminology
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong prioritization, organizational, typing, and multi-tasking skills
Days; Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)
Pay Grade: B13
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
Recruitment Period: Until Filled
