Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Clinician to join our team in a Clinical Research role. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing clinical trials, recruiting participants, and ensuring the smooth operation of research studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruit and screen participants for clinical trials
  • Manage study documents, regulatory, and data entry
  • Administer IV study medication as needed
  • Collect, process, and store specimens for specific studies
  • Assess for adverse events and maintain investigational devices
  • Develop strategies to prevent future occurrences of negative balances
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
  • Active licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Georgia
  • Minimum of three years of clinical experience in a specialized area
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS/BCLS certification
Preferred Qualifications
  • Completion of CITI Program (learner group 1 FDA regulated research)
  • Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) or eligibility to take certification exam
  • Additional years of nursing experience, specifically in a hospital setting
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases
  • Knowledge of good clinical practices, IRB requirements, patient evaluation procedures, and medical terminology
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with strong prioritization, organizational, typing, and multi-tasking skills
Shift/Salary/Benefits

Days; Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required)

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
