POSITION OVERVIEW:
Accountable for the compilation of monthly real estate transactions, upkeep of general ledger accounts, and the prompt generation of financial statements along with supporting documentation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee a comprehensive set of financial records for multiple subsidiaries.
- Compile monthly real estate transactions, encompassing acquisitions, sales, and lease modifications (e.g., CPI adjustments and lease amendments)
- Conduct analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
- Support the bank reconciliation process for various entities
- Code transactions and/or review transaction coding of entries to be recorded in the general ledger, including invoices
- Assist in the preparation of audit documentation for year-end, quarterly documentation for 10-Q and 10-K preparation, and monthly documentation for internal reporting
- Contribute to the preparation of SEC quarterly and annual reporting obligations
- Compile monthly reporting packages and various accounting reports, as necessary
- Assist with special initiatives, as required
- Ensure precision in all tasks
- Complete assignments in a timely manner
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Able to work 40-45 hours per week with additional hours during peak periods such as year-end, tax season, and the conclusion of each quarter during the preparation of 10-Qs and other projects
