POSITION OVERVIEW:


Accountable for the compilation of monthly real estate transactions, upkeep of general ledger accounts, and the prompt generation of financial statements along with supporting documentation.

Participate in special initiatives as required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee a comprehensive set of financial records for multiple subsidiaries.
  • Compile monthly real estate transactions, encompassing acquisitions, sales, and lease modifications (e.g., CPI adjustments and lease amendments)
  • Conduct analysis and reconciliation of general ledger accounts
  • Support the bank reconciliation process for various entities
  • Code transactions and/or review transaction coding of entries to be recorded in the general ledger, including invoices
  • Assist in the preparation of audit documentation for year-end, quarterly documentation for 10-Q and 10-K preparation, and monthly documentation for internal reporting
  • Contribute to the preparation of SEC quarterly and annual reporting obligations
  • Compile monthly reporting packages and various accounting reports, as necessary
  • Assist with special initiatives, as required
  • Ensure precision in all tasks
  • Complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures
  • Able to work 40-45 hours per week with additional hours during peak periods such as year-end, tax season, and the conclusion of each quarter during the preparation of 10-Qs and other projects
