We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. As a Medical Telemetry Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and monitor patients with acute changes in their condition, including those with cardiac and respiratory issues.
- Interpret ECGs and note arrhythmias, intervening in emergency situations as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions.
- Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives, contributing to the development of best practices and policies.
- Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current state of Missouri RN licensure.
- Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.
- BLS certification required at hire and maintained.
- ACLS certification required within 6 months.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
