About This Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Cardiovascular Telemetry team at Lee's Summit Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support an unparalleled patient experience.

Responsibilities
  • Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.
  • Perform procedures or other functions as ordered by the medical provider.
  • Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
  • Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
  • Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
About Our Team

Our Cardiovascular Telemetry unit is a 18-bed unit with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. We provide high-acuity care to patients with chest pain, cath lab post-procedure, vascular surgical patients, heart failure, and any patient on CV drip. Our team is known for its strong culture and cohesive teamwork, and we offer opportunities for certifications and growth towards critical care.

Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current state of Missouri RN licensure required
  • Excellent oral/written communication, interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills required
  • BLS certification required at hire and maintained
  • ACLS required within 6 months
  • Previous clinical experience preferred
  • Basic computer skills
