Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage with customers, inquire about their projects, suggest suitable products, and generate excitement about their purchases.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and strive to surpass customer expectations.
  • Ensure assigned areas are stocked, clean, and safe for shopping.
  • Collaborate with management and team members to meet sales objectives.
  • Process transactions at checkout using the point of sale (POS) system.
  • Handle customer returns and exchanges following established protocols.
  • Adhere to cash, check, and credit card processing procedures.
  • Create and display price tags and merchandise signage.
  • Act in alignment with the company's core values.
  • Comply with the company's safety procedures.
  • Answer phone calls according to company standards.
  • Be prepared to assist in various store areas as needed.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Basic math skills are required.
  • Prior customer service experience is preferred.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
  • Some roles may necessitate forklift certification through Floor & Decor.
  • Where allowed by state law, certification for heavy equipment operation requires passing a drug test.
Work Environment:
  • Employees may encounter a warehouse setting and moving vehicles. The noise level typically ranges from quiet to moderate.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to exert varying levels of force, including lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling objects weighing up to 30 pounds frequently, and occasionally more.
  • Frequent use of hands and fingers for handling and feeling.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Store Operating Hours

Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
