As a US Citizen, you will assist in various aspects of federal funds financial oversight and regulatory program support for grant recipients and state licensing programs.


This role encompasses the entire grant lifecycle, from pre-award preparations to implementation and finalization. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all objectives and deliverables throughout the grant's lifecycle are met successfully. You may work independently or as part of a collaborative team.


Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Preparing memos for grants and program officers to document acceptance and approval of final reports and other required deliverables.
  2. Reviewing grant applications for compliance, clarity, and completeness.
  3. Monitoring grantees' ongoing operations to ensure adherence to award provisions.
  4. Conducting cost analysis of approved grant applications.
  5. Tracking grant payments and fund balances to generate status and statistical information.
  6. Collaborating with team members and stakeholders to review project budgets.
  7. Preparing award documents and assisting in the administration of awarded grants, including the receipt and approval of change requests.
  8. Providing training and technical assistance to grantees.
  9. Resolving audit findings and managing the administrative closeout of expired grants.
  10. Assisting in the negotiation, preparation, and administration of grants and cooperative agreements.

Essential skills for this position include:

  • Strong critical thinking, evaluation, and analytical capabilities.
  • Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining organization and attention to detail.
  • Excellent office skills, including writing, editing, and proofreading.
  • Proficiency in computer skills, including data entry and familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams).
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate well with others.
  • Basic math skills.
