Position Overview:
We are seeking a Credit Analysis Team Lead for Private Banking who will play a pivotal role in our operations. This position is designed for an experienced professional who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities and contribute to our mission of providing exceptional financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage a team of Credit Analysts, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality service delivery.
- Review and approve final credit packages, ensuring optimal deal structures are in place.
- Act as a senior liaison to Credit Administrators, facilitating effective underwriting and credit risk analysis for various loan types.
- Engage in complex loan assessments and provide backup support to the Credit Analysis team as needed.
- Foster talent development through collaboration with Line of Business Leaders and Learning & Development teams, offering coaching and constructive feedback.
- Address performance management proactively, identifying opportunities for improvement and success.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant investor and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 6 years of experience in credit analysis, lending, or underwriting.
- Proven management experience is essential.
- Experience in budgeting and project management is preferred.
- Advanced understanding of commercial and construction loans, with the ability to apply this knowledge effectively.
- Demonstrated creativity and resourcefulness in problem-solving and decision-making.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with management and staff.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in making sound decisions and recommendations based on credit risk indicators and economic factors.
- Exceptional management capabilities.
Compensation:
The salary for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, ranging from $85,000 to $120,000.
