We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Brooklyn Hospital Center.
Responsibilities:
* Perform data verification and analysis related to information for the Cost Accounting System and other cost containment and productivity initiatives.
* Support and assist the Hospital's budget preparation and monitoring process.
* Collaborate with other employees to ensure seamless data flow between systems used by TBHC and the Budget/Reimbursement department.
* Develop and implement solutions to data conflicts and recommend resolutions.
* Utilize knowledge of reimbursement methodologies, budgeting, and cost accounting to drive financial decision-making.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
* Three to five years of related experience.
* Proficiency in personal computers, particularly spreadsheet software (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and database management software (e.g., Microsoft Access).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
