POSITION SUMMARY
The successful candidate will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of projects while adhering to budgetary constraints, timelines, and project scope. They will also be responsible for effectively communicating project updates to stakeholders, clients, and team members.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare documentation for engineering processes and procedures based on work orders.
  • Assist in defining project scope and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Create a comprehensive project plan.
  • Guarantee timely delivery of all projects within the defined scope and budget.
  • Manage resource availability and allocation.
  • Communicate, monitor, and track project progress.

Primary Duties

  • Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Gather essential information from clients, including soil test reports and emission limits, ensuring timely acquisition aligned with project schedules.
  • Monitor labor charges, purchased components, and raw materials to ensure accurate project accounting.
  • Coordinate internal teams and external vendors for seamless project execution.
  • Develop project scopes and objectives, ensuring technical feasibility with stakeholder involvement.
  • Conduct meetings with client representatives to facilitate project flow and information exchange.
  • Ensure resource availability and allocation.
  • Create a detailed project plan to monitor progress.
  • Utilize appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs.
  • Measure project performance using relevant systems, tools, and methodologies.
  • Provide guidance and project direction to engineering teams to ensure timely and accurate completion of engineering tasks.
  • Engage Regional Sales Managers and/or Directors when project scope changes are necessary.
  • Support sales and engineering efforts by visiting potential job sites and gathering relevant information.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as required.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate project risks.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of comprehensive project management experience.
  • Experience in project management related to electrical requirements or industrial controls is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in interpreting mechanical drawings and drafting.
  • Ability to conduct field surveys and measurements for new and retrofit applications.
  • Experience in creating AutoCAD layouts is essential.
  • Basic understanding of asphalt plant electrical and control systems is required.
  • Prior experience in the asphalt or construction sector is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Basic financial planning knowledge.
  • Resource management capabilities.
  • Effective team-building skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Highly organized with a keen attention to detail.
  • Experience in a matrix-based marketing communications organization is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office Suite.
