S&ME, Inc. is in search of a motivated and detail-oriented full-time Project Financial Coordinator to become a vital part of our Finance team in Region 3; Alabama, and Tennessee. This position offers a hybrid work model, combining remote work with in-office collaboration to promote flexibility and a healthy work-life balance.
Role Responsibilities:
As a Project Financial Coordinator, you will oversee the financial management of projects within our accounting framework. Working closely with Project Managers, you will ensure accurate financial documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Your duties will include interpreting and entering contract information, verifying and updating project rate schedules and demographic data, managing the billing process, issuing invoices to clients, making necessary budget modifications, and assisting Project Managers with contract-based collection efforts. Furthermore, you will support the collection of overdue accounts, conduct monthly reviews and invoicing of assigned projects through electronic billing systems, and carry out project closure tasks. Essential qualities for success in this role include exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational capabilities, effective communication skills, a positive demeanor, and the ability to collaborate effectively to achieve shared goals.
Candidate Profile:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Associate degree in Accounting or Finance is advantageous
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in project billing
- Familiarity with KPI reporting and dashboards
