Direct Support Professional 3

Bridgewell is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 3 to join our team. As a key member of our residential program, you will provide essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to live safe, self-directed, and productive lives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide skills training and support in activities of daily living, promoting independence and self-advocacy.
- Create opportunities for individuals to make decisions and develop their skills, fostering a sense of autonomy and confidence.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including DDS, DMH, MassHealth, HUD, DPH, and CARF, as well as Bridgewell policies and procedures.
- Assist individuals with medical, clinical, and financial needs, providing a high level of care and support.
- Transport and accompany individuals to medical, recreational, and other activities outside the program, promoting socialization and community integration.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation, adhering to regulatory requirements and Bridgewell standards.
- Develop positive relationships with guardians, family members, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree or DSP certification preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to write clear and articulate reports.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and minimum 1 year of driving experience.
