Position: Senior Information Assurance Analyst

Applicants must possess an active Secret Clearance.

Experience Requirements:

A minimum of ten (10) years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs):

Expertise as an Information Systems Security Engineering (ISSE) Subject Matter Expert (SME), including transitioning an Information System from a physical to a cloud environment. Demonstrates leadership, management, and supervisory skills in Information Assurance (IA) as outlined in DoD Directive M. Ensures the strict application of IA policies, principles, and practices in delivering all IT and IA services. Directs team members to effectively and efficiently resolve complex IA issues. Guides the establishment of operational structures and processes to maintain a robust IA security program, including boundary defense and incident detection and response. Assesses functional operations and performance based on test results and provides recommendations regarding Certification and Accreditation (C&A). Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of IA security measures and safeguards. Ensures that protection and detection capabilities are developed using an IS security engineering approach consistent with DoD Component-level IA architecture. Familiarity with DoD-provided IA tools is essential. Prepares and/or oversees the preparation of IA certification and accreditation documentation. Analyzes, develops, evaluates, and integrates IA policies. Monitors and assesses the effectiveness of IA security procedures and safeguards to ensure they deliver the intended protection level.

Qualifications:

Knowledge and compliance with DoD 8140, 8500 (Cybersecurity), 8510 (Risk Management Framework), 8551 (PPSM), CJCSI f (IA & CND), etc.

Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8140.

A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or computer engineering, coupled with at least 10 years of experience.

Secret.
