A prominent healthcare organization is looking for a Marketing Events Specialist to enhance their team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Marketing Manager to facilitate over 40 national and regional industry trade shows and conferences each year, aimed at driving sales leads and improving customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engaging with trade show organizers to acquire, assess, and relay information on show prospectuses and sponsorship options.
  • Overseeing inventory, repairs, and logistics from the main office.
  • Maintaining an annual events calendar and ensuring effective internal communication regarding scheduling.
  • Coordinating bookings and registrations for trade shows, including travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Providing support for on-site logistics at events, such as booth assembly and disassembly, furniture setup, electricity arrangements, lead retrieval device rentals, labor management, promotional materials, and necessary documentation.
  • Assisting in budget oversight and conducting post-event return on investment analysis.
  • Developing marketing communications for pre- and post-event activities.
  • Working alongside the marketing team to design compelling promotional materials for events that adhere to company standards.
  • Documenting event processes and procedures for future reference.
  • Contributing to the development of new events and programming, including regional customer meetings and focus groups.
  • Supporting webinars, case studies, and other marketing initiatives.
  • Assisting with various marketing projects as required.

Qualifications and Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in marketing or event planning is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, along with effective problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated integrity and discretion when managing confidential information.
  • Ability to work on-site as needed for logistics management; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours to accommodate event needs.
  • A valid U.S. driver's license is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience in B2B or B2G marketing is advantageous.
