Trade Execution Support:

  • Facilitate the processing of CLO transactions, ensuring prompt and precise order management.
  • Keep trade logs current, ensuring all transactions are accurately documented and reconciled.
  • Engage with brokers, counterparties, and internal operations teams to guarantee seamless trade settlements.

Assistance in Portfolio Management:

  • Oversee and report on the performance of CLO portfolios, including daily profit and loss (P&L) assessments and risk evaluations.
  • Provide analytical support to portfolio managers, including scenario assessments and stress testing.
  • Monitor cash flows and other essential metrics related to CLO investments.

Operational Coordination:

  • Collaborate with middle and back-office teams to ensure accurate trade processing, reconciliation, and settlement.
  • Handle documentation associated with trades, ensuring adherence to both internal and external regulations.
  • Assist in the enhancement of operational procedures to improve efficiency and reduce risk.

Market Analysis and Monitoring:

  • Remain updated on market trends, pricing, and developments within the CLO and structured products sectors.
  • Deliver real-time market insights to the trading desk and aid in identifying potential trading opportunities.
  • Conduct research and analysis to bolster trading strategies.

Reporting and Documentation Management:

  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports detailing trading activities and portfolio performance for senior management review.
  • Ensure meticulous record-keeping of all trades and maintain up-to-date documentation that is easily accessible.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline.
  • 2-5 years of experience in financial services, preferably in trading, operations, or structured products.
  • Solid understanding of CLOs and structured finance.
  • Proficient in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with trading systems and Bloomberg is advantageous.
