Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the setup, rehearsal, and execution of entertainment productions, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.
  • Supervise the daily operations of assigned venues, including maintenance and show integrity.
  • Oversee the installation and approval of rigging equipment in compliance with safety guidelines.
  • Evaluate and adjust departmental processes to adapt to evolving business needs.
  • Develop and manage labor and expense budgets, ensuring accountability for financial resources.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and maintain accurate documentation for team members.
  • Lead the hiring process and maintain confidentiality regarding team member matters.
  • Facilitate training and mentorship for staff to promote professional growth and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and inventory of equipment related to shows and attractions.
  • Coordinate with vendors and troubleshoot issues to maintain high-quality productions.
  • Implement safety programs and conduct training for staff in compliance with OSHA and company standards.
  • Maintain records of safety inspections and chemical inventories.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, vendors, and guests to foster a collaborative environment.
Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate's degree in Theatrical Arts or related field is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a theme park or production environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a theatrical setting, including knowledge of lighting and rigging.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and possess strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and maintain a flexible schedule.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to company standards.
