Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead the product management of our end-to-end commercial nanoparticle product offerings. As the Head of Product Development, you will be responsible for driving the design, delivery, and commercial success of our products, ensuring they meet customer needs and apply Super-Resolution Microscopy to better understand and characterize Nanoparticles.

This role plays a critical part in our mission and the growth of ONI, expanding us well into the Pharma/Biopharma market, bringing Super-Resolution to an entirely new level.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the product management of our end-to-end commercial nanoparticle product offerings, from ideation to commercialization.
  • Establish and define the product's value proposition and develop key messaging that effectively communicates its features, benefits, and competitive advantages to target customers.
  • Partner with Program Management to lead meetings and communication with key stakeholders and project partners to share project updates, progress against established timelines and milestones, address and resolve potential risks that arise.
  • Establish pricing strategy, evaluate the impact of pricing decisions on revenue, and ensure product price will maintain profitability through financial margin targets of the portfolio.
  • Explore the market needs and requirements based on customer and market intelligence.
  • Align development resources to execute on the design and prototyping of new products.
  • Interface with R&D, marketing, software, and product team peers to ensure all facets of customer experience are addressed.
  • Monitor and proactively utilize customer feedback, scientific literature, and real-time data to ensure our tools are valuable and necessary for customers research.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience successfully launching and managing application-focused products throughout the entire lifecycle, preferably in the Life Science Industry.
  • ~ Degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, biotechnology, business, or marketing is required.
  • ~ MBA, PhD) or relevant certifications in product management or marketing are a plus.
  • ~ Experience collaborating with R&D, marketing, software, and product teams to ensure a cohesive customer experience.
  • Understanding of Nanoparticle research is highly desired.
  • ~ Familiarity with Super-Resolution Microscopy and its applications in nanoparticle characterization is highly desired.
