Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and executing system-level test cases for our next-generation management system. This will involve both scale and performance-related test cases to observe how components within our system behave in the most strenuous environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and execute system-level test cases for our next-generation management system.
  • Work alongside the development team to help root-cause any issues found.
  • Write up detailed bug reports that include a complete characterization of the system at time of failure.
  • Work with our Technical Support team to help reproduce, debug, and resolve any issues reported by our customers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in designing, deploying, managing, and troubleshooting IP and Ethernet networks.
  • Experience in 3 or more of the following networking protocols and technologies: BGP, OSPF, ISIS, VRRP, LACP, STP, IP Multicast, ECMP, Port-Mirroring, QoS, VXLAN, MPLS, EVPN, etc.
  • Experience with Linux operating system and its popular technologies: KVM, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Hbase.
  • Some familiarity with scripting languages: Python or TCL.
  • Experience with provisioning and deployment frameworks: Ansible, Puppet, Chef.
  • Strong communication skills.
