We require a skilled Certified Medical Assistant to provide high-quality patient care and support in our Wayne and Morristown offices. Travel may be required.
The ideal candidate will possess a medical assistant certification from a recognized New Jersey program and have 2+ years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities- Vital Signs Collection: Accurately take vital signs for patients
- Medication Management: Safely administer medications as directed by physicians
- Specimen Handling: Collect and manage patient specimens
- EMR Maintenance: Effectively use electronic medical records to document patient information
- Prioritization and Urgency Response: Set priorities and respond promptly to urgent situations
- Physician Support: Assist physicians during examinations and procedures
- Patient Communication: Provide clear instructions and education to patients
- Procedure Coordination: Process procedure paperwork efficiently
- Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, and patients
- Confidentiality and Data Security: Maintain confidentiality and protect sensitive patient information
- Office Reception: Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling phone calls
A competitive salary range: $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
