We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Department Supervisor to join our team at TJ Maxx. Key Responsibilities- Customer Experience: Engage and interact with all customers, maintaining a clean and organized store, and role-modeling exceptional customer service.
- Merchandising and Receiving: Create a positive internal and external customer experience, promoting a culture of honesty and integrity, and maintaining confidentiality.
- Team Management: Train and mentor Associates on established merchandising and processing principles, ensuring merchandise is properly tagged, hung, secured, and coded.
- Operations: Organize and rotate back stock for easy replenishment, maintain and uphold merchandising philosophy and signage standards, and ensure compliance with recycling and hazardous waste programs.
- Communication: Communicate accurately and effectively with management and Associates when setting and addressing priorities, providing progress updates, and providing and accepting recognition and constructive feedback.
- Experience: 1 year retail and 6 months of leadership experience.
- Skills: Superior communication and organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of multi-tasking, and able to respond appropriately to changes in direction or unexpected situations.
- Physical Demands: Able to lift heavy objects with or without reasonable accommodation.
