About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Operating Room Registered Nurse to join our team at Henrico Doctors' Hospital Forest. As an OR RN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care, exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, documenting required information according to hospital policy.
  • Develop and maintain aseptic technique and scrubbing cases as it relates to unit scope of care.
  • Function in an organized and time-conscious manner, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrate competency in providing patient/family education, promoting health and wellness.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Previous experience as an OR nurse.
