Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, including circulating cases and exercising sound judgment and decision-making skills.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external customers, documenting required information according to hospital policy.
- Present yourself in a professional manner, adhering to our nursing staff's expectations.
- Understand principles of aseptic technique and requirements for scrubbing cases, ensuring a safe and sterile environment.
- Demonstrate competency in providing patient/family education, empowering patients to take an active role in their care.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current Registered Nurse license in Virginia or a compact license.
- Current BLS certification.
- At least 2 years of experience as an OR nurse.
