About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Business Development Executive to join our team at Vanderlande Industries. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business developments and expanding existing relationships with our strategic key customers.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, specifically in the Material Handling Systems - Warehouse Automation industry. You will be responsible for managing the full sales cycle, from initial analysis of customer needs to total life-cycle support. Your primary objective will be to achieve defined sales targets and assigned strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate order intake for warehousing distribution and parcel automation projects
  • Develop and pursue profitable sales leads to achieve planned order intake and profit level
  • Co-coordinate sales strategy and determining customer requirements
  • Cultivate and improve customer relationships
  • Coordinate sales material, pricing strategy, and proposal content
  • Provide input into weekly/monthly departmental activity reports
  • Manage sales documentation and data for Bid/No Bid decision making
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
  • 10 years sales experience in the material handling industry
  • Demonstrated expertise in selling in a B2B environment with an extended sales cycle (12+ months) w/capital equipment
  • Experience with presenting to multi-level contacts, and medium to large organizations
  • Background in consultative selling role in a team selling environment
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. This position also includes up to 50% travel and no supervisory responsibilities.
