We are seeking an experienced Senior Oncology Care Nurse to join our team at Saint Francis Hospital. As a member of our nursing staff, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in oncology nursing, with a focus on chemotherapy administration and symptom management. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

This is a full-time position with opportunities for professional growth and development. We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with various types of cancer, including solid tumors and hematologic malignancies
  • Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage side effects
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Care for patients with medical/surgical conditions, including those requiring hospice and end-of-life services
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent experience
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Connecticut
  • BLS certification required
