About the Role

Hartford HealthCare (HHC) is seeking an exceptional Medical Director of Neuro-Oncology to join our esteemed team. As a key member of our Cancer Institute and the Ayer Neurosciences Institute, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our neuro-oncology clinical and research programs.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in neurology and neuro-oncology, with a passion for delivering innovative treatments and developing cutting-edge research initiatives. You will work closely with our Director of Neuro-Oncology and other senior leaders to develop and implement strategies that drive excellence in patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of neuro-oncology clinical and research programs
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Pursue opportunities for research and innovation, including collaboration with external partners
  • Mentor and support junior faculty members and staff
Requirements
  • M.D. degree and board certification or eligibility in Neurology and Neuro-Oncology (UCNS)
  • Proven track record of success in leadership roles, with a focus on program development and innovation
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines

Salary Information

The estimated salary range for this position is $350,000 - $450,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
