Job Overview

As a Lead Cost Accountant at TekPro, you will play a pivotal role in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our cost management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct thorough daily and monthly evaluations of project profitability.

· Perform reconciliations between perpetual inventory records and corresponding General Ledger Accounts.

· Oversee daily cash balance assessments and short-term borrowing reviews, ensuring adherence to bank debt covenants.

· Facilitate the annual budgeting process, coordinating inputs from various departments.

· Manage the preparation and review of financial statements in collaboration with external auditors.

· Conduct customer credit assessments, maintain credit terms, and monitor collection efforts.

· Administer capital equipment oversight, including the management of Asset Keeper software, tracking capital expenditures, and reconciling the Additions in Process general ledger account.

· Prepare and present monthly performance metrics to management during Graph Meetings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in progressively responsible financial management roles.
  • CPA Certification or MBA is highly desirable.
  • Strong foundation in Cost Accounting principles.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems is essential.
