The main focus of this role is to guarantee that all kitchen equipment is properly maintained during the preparation of incoming orders, while also ensuring a tidy and structured workspace for the culinary team.

Following guidance from senior kitchen staff, you will actively participate in supporting them during peak service times.


SUMMARY OF TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Aid the chef in managing kitchen operations during busy hours
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen
  • Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned to the highest standards
  • Keep the kitchen organized and efficient
  • Regularly dispose of waste and adhere to recycling protocols
  • Follow strict health and safety regulations, as well as food hygiene practices
  • Assist with incoming stock deliveries and help with the organization of storage areas as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Prior experience as a Kitchen Steward or in a similar kitchen role
