- Quick Lube Technician
- Entry-Level Service Technician
- Experienced Service Technician
- Heavy Line Technician
- Transmission Technician
- Master Service Technician
Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities:
- Assess and communicate oil levels to team members
- Ensure proper tire pressure
- Inspect and replenish fluid levels as needed
- Conduct vehicle inspections
- Install new oil drain plugs and filters
- Clean and lubricate fittings as required
- Deliver exceptional customer service, prioritizing the customer's perspective
Service Technician Responsibilities:
- Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards
- Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools
- Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
- Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional services needed and provide time estimates for repairs
- Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an automotive dealership
- Strong understanding of service operations
- Experience levels vary by position
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
- Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Basic computer skills
- Positive, friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills
- Willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures
- Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks
