  • Master Service Technician


Quick Lube Technician Responsibilities:
  • Assess and communicate oil levels to team members
  • Ensure proper tire pressure
  • Inspect and replenish fluid levels as needed
  • Conduct vehicle inspections
  • Install new oil drain plugs and filters
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as required
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, prioritizing the customer's perspective


Service Technician Responsibilities:
  • Execute tasks outlined in the repair order efficiently and according to dealership standards
  • Test-drive vehicles and evaluate components and systems using diagnostic tools
  • Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning
  • Communicate directly with the Service Advisor to keep customers informed about additional services needed and provide time estimates for repairs
  • Perform warranty repairs according to manufacturer specifications


Qualifications:
  • Prior experience in an automotive dealership
  • Strong understanding of service operations
  • Experience levels vary by position
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Dexterity and excellent hand-eye coordination
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting abilities
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Positive, friendly demeanor with a customer-centric approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Team-oriented with effective collaboration skills
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and service procedures
  • Proficient in using electronic diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Must be willing to undergo pre-employment drug screening and background checks
