Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting necessary parts, while promoting additional products and current promotions.
- Manage inventory by pulling parts from stock and processing orders for items not readily available.
- Handle incoming calls with professionalism, providing accurate pricing and product information.
- Coordinate daily shipments and prepare orders for customer pickup or delivery.
- Maintain organized records of back orders and will-call items, ensuring timely follow-up with vendors.
- Support service technicians by sourcing parts required for ongoing repairs.
- Open and manage repair orders, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.
- Communicate with customers regarding the status of their orders and parts received.
- Provide excellent customer service to all dealership departments, maintaining a collaborative environment.
- Process returns and issue credits while adhering to company policies.
- Ensure compliance with tax-exempt sales procedures when applicable.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the parts department.
- Stay informed about new products and industry updates through ongoing training.
- Participate in tracking lost sales and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and report any incidents to management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year experience in an automotive parts department.
- Sales experience is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and manage customer interactions effectively.
- Must be authorized to work in the USA and meet all pre-employment requirements.
