Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated TH Medical Radiographer III to join our team at Stony Brook Medicine. As a key member of our Mobile Health Program, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Position patients and provide immobilization devices to produce diagnostic imaging.
  • Select and operate equipment as directed, ensuring proper technical factors and safety standards are met.
  • Process exams, perform quality control tests, and facilitate the delivery of images and exams through our PACS system.
  • Assist physicians in the administration of opaque media, practice sterile techniques, and prevent cross-contamination.
  • Delegate areas of authority, instruct students or hospital personnel, and oversee the operation of equipment.
  • Conduct periodic quality control tests, participate in research, and maintain accurate records.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Diagnostic Radiology Program.
  • New York State Department of Health Licensed in Radiology Technology.
  • Current ARRT and BLS Certification.
  • Preferred qualifications include an Associate's degree, hospital experience, bilingualism in Spanish, and one year of experience in Radiology.
