Key Responsibilities:- Caseload Assistance: Support therapy personnel with various caseloads, including individualized (1:1) student assistance, working within ASD classrooms, and aiding other special education environments.
- Behavioral Assistance: Execute behavior intervention plans (BIPs) and aid students in their daily educational tasks.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with educators, therapists, and other staff to address the unique needs of students.
- Record Keeping: Maintain precise documentation of student progress, behaviors, and interventions as directed by supervising personnel.
- Guidance and Support: Offer consistent and compassionate support to students, assisting them in overcoming daily challenges in the classroom.
- Flexibility: Modify support strategies based on the individual requirements of each student and as advised by the therapy team.
- Ongoing Learning: Engage in training sessions to remain updated with best practices in behavior management and ABA methodologies.
- For RBTs: An active RBT license is required.
- For Paraprofessionals: Previous experience in behavior/ABA is essential, with a preference for those who have worked with ASD students.
