Aerospace Maintenance Technician

Position Overview: This position requires deployment beyond the continental United States. The primary duties include strategizing and coordinating maintenance operations for Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE) and Support Equipment at an organizational level. Responsibilities encompass evaluating maintenance processes, analyzing resource allocation, and recommending corrective actions. The role also involves formulating strategies to improve operational efficiency, identifying essential resources such as facilities, tools, and materials, establishing production controls and benchmarks, as well as servicing, repairing, and overhauling AGE and SE to ensure safety and peak performance. Furthermore, the position necessitates the interpretation and application of maintenance-related guidelines and publications, adherence to environmentally sustainable maintenance practices, and comprehension of technical documentation such as Technical Orders (TOs), manuals, and service bulletins. The role includes intricate maintenance tasks, component replacements, and rebuilds utilizing a variety of tools and equipment, submitting reports on material and product deficiencies, and performing maintenance on powered AGE equipment engines. Compliance with safety standards, review of maintenance documentation, and precise data entry into equipment forms and Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS) are also critical components of the job. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
- Capability to obtain a Secret security clearance.
- At least five years of practical experience in maintaining powered ground and support equipment, including diesel engines, generators, and air conditioning systems, with an emphasis on industrial HVAC system repairs.
- Completion of CRC CONUS Replacement Center training.
- Possession of a valid US Passport.
- Expertise in Portable towers, particularly Tower solutions utilized for Ground Data Terminals (GDT).
