Position Overview: This role necessitates deployment outside the continental United States (OCONUS). The incumbent will conduct inspections, diagnostics, and both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance at the organizational level, adhering to relevant Air Force regulations and guidelines for MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 Remotely Piloted Aircraft (RPA). Responsibilities include performing essential inspections such as post-flight, thru-flight, preflight, acceptance, and transfer inspections, as well as executing launch, recovery, towing, servicing, and ground handling tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove and replace line replaceable units and flight control components.
  • Ensure thorough and precise documentation of maintenance activities in accordance with AFTO 781 series forms and the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS).
  • Identify and relay maintenance and support needs to the flight line expediter or production supervisor.
  • Oversee the packing and shipping of RPA and equipment to meet global mobility requirements.
  • Deploy as required to support worldwide mobility tasks as directed by higher authorities.
  • Facilitate, oversee, and manage technical training for personnel.
  • Conduct evaluations of tasks assigned to team members.

Essential Qualifications:

Applicants must possess a minimum of seven (7) years of experience in aircraft maintenance, including at least one (1) year in a leadership capacity comparable to a U.S. Air Force Maintenance Unit Flightline Expeditor. Additionally, candidates should have at least one year of hands-on experience with MQ-1 and/or MQ-9 aircraft.

A current Secret Security Clearance is mandatory, with the capability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance if required by governmental regulations.

Security Clearance Requirement: This position mandates a government security clearance; applicants must be U.S. Citizens for eligibility.
