Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Patient Service Representative to join our team at Care Alliance. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a positive experience for our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide critical first contact between patients and Care Alliance, greeting and addressing patient inquiries, requests for appointments, and medical advice.
  • Direct patients through the check-in/check-out process, collecting and updating pertinent demographics, guarantor, and insurance information in the Practice Management System/Electronic Medical Record (EPIC).
  • Modify clinical staff schedules as needed to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
  • Work with underserved and disadvantaged persons, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and a commitment to providing high-quality care.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, utilizing excellent organizational skills and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Provide exceptional reception, telephone, and customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for patients.
  • Commit to the mission of Care Alliance, upholding our values and standards of care.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma/GED.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Patient Services experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of Medical records Experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using EPIC.
  • Ability to speak, read, write, and converse in English and Spanish.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work Monday through Friday from 8 am until 5 pm.
