At Pacific Island Community of Oregon, we are seeking an Employment Specialist to join our team. The estimated salary for this role is $63,000 - $75,000 per year.

Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled professional to provide employment services to adults with disabilities. As an Employment Specialist, you will work closely with clients to assess their interests and abilities, conduct job development and placement, and provide ongoing support to ensure successful employment outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to establish supportive relationships with clients and employers. You will also need to be knowledgeable about community-based work settings and able to educate potential employers about the benefits of hiring individuals with disabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess client interests and abilities
  • Conduct job development and placement
  • Provide ongoing support to clients and employers
  • Represent PICO in the business community
