Role Overview:

The Customer Relationship Marketing (CRM) Analyst will be an integral part of the Global Marketing Analytics team, focusing on enhancing CRM strategies for Visa and its clients. Collaborating closely with the Global Marketing Capabilities team, this role will leverage first-party customer data to design and implement impactful CRM and digital marketing campaigns that yield significant returns on investment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Utilize Visa and client first-party transaction data to extract actionable business insights through both automated reporting tools and manual data analysis.
  2. Collaborate with marketing leaders and CRM strategists to translate data-driven insights into effective marketing strategies and tactics.
  3. Engage with marketing teams and agency partners to ensure a comprehensive understanding of campaign execution, measurement requirements, and the implications of analytical findings.
  4. Conduct thorough analyses of transactional data to produce ROI reports that quantify the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  5. Provide strategic guidance to marketing teams in designing and executing experimental campaigns that yield valuable insights.
  6. Develop learning agendas to address critical business questions, partnering with regional marketing teams to define learning needs and optimize campaign designs.
  7. Serve as the subject matter expert for Visa and Marketing Services CRM data management and processes.
  8. Support macro business case development during Visa's annual planning cycles to inform resource allocation and budgeting decisions.
  9. Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration across teams.
  10. Actively contribute to process improvement initiatives and global meta-learning programs.

Qualifications:

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 to 4 years of relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science, or Engineering.
  • Hands-on experience in marketing analytics within a professional setting, or 1+ years with an advanced degree in a related field.
  • Proficiency in data processing, visualization, and analysis using tools like Excel and SAS.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses clearly to senior management.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced global environment.
  • Familiarity with Bayesian statistics and tools such as R, Hadoop, SQL, or Tableau.
  • Experience in designing and analyzing end-to-end test and learn initiatives.
  • Proven ability to influence decision-makers through data-driven insights.
  • Background in the payments industry and experience in developing business cases and revenue forecasts.
