About the Role

Macdonald & Company is seeking a seasoned professional to lead the growth of their Multifamily pipeline in Austin, TX. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for identifying, entitling, and securing new multifamily development opportunities in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deal Sourcing: Identify and secure new deals in Austin to meet the company's business plan goals.
  • Research and Development: Conduct thorough research on development opportunities, including market trends and competitor analysis.
  • Cultivating Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including brokers, developers, and city officials.
  • Entitlements: Oversee the entitlement process, including submittals, timelines, and negotiations with city staff and elected officials.
  • Site Control: Negotiate and secure main economic terms with land sellers, prepare and submit letters of intent, and lead land purchase contract preparation and negotiation.
