Job Summary:

EMIT Technologies, Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Supervisor to oversee welding operations on 1st shift. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding techniques and a proven ability to lead a team, ensuring high-quality work and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate the activities of welding needs
Ensure all welding operations are performed in accordance with company policies and safety regulations
Monitor work quality and provide guidance and training to team members as needed
Collaborate with the production manager to plan and prioritize work schedules and tasks
Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with specifications and standards
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and employee performance
Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during the shift
Promote a positive work environment and encourage team collaboration and morale

Qualifications:

Welding Program Certificate, High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications preferred
Proven experience in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick, etc.) and a strong understanding of welding processes
Must have previous supervisory or leadership experience, a plus if you've been a welding instructor
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in a welding environment
