Job Title: Plant Operator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Operator to join our team at The Bergaila Companies. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation of our midstream energy assets.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform System Lead Operator duties, ensuring optimal system operations mode on a real-time basis and recommending adjustments as needed.
  • Coordinate execution of routine and emergent maintenance, including planning, execution, materials sourcing, manpower utilization, cost control, and long-range planning.
  • Ensure the scheduling and completion of operational assignments, identifying and solving technical, operational, and organizational problems.
  • Communicate optimization recommendations to internal and external stakeholders, working with interdisciplinary teams to ensure priorities are aligned.
  • Understand customer needs and contractual obligations, integrating them into daily operations and monitoring compliance with contracts.
  • Coordinate efforts of Operating Teams, providing guidance and data for performance metrics and facilitating operational planning meetings.
Requirements:
  • Possess an Associate's or two-year technical degree in mechanical, engineering technology, electronics, or a related field.
  • Control room, dispatch center, processing plant lead operator experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in midstream operations and/or maintenance; 8 or greater preferred.
  • Understanding of complex systems and ability to identify opportunities to optimize performance.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications, Computerized Maintenance Management Systems, and SCADA.
  • Leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work unsupervised.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
