Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage the check-in and check-out processes for guests, ensuring accurate payment handling and applicable discounts.
  2. Operate the hotel switchboard, directing calls as necessary.
  3. Act as the primary point of contact for guests, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  4. Handle reservations and ensure that all booking, rate, and cancellation policies are communicated clearly to guests.
  5. Conduct audits of accounts to maintain accuracy, including city ledger, reservation deposits, credit card transactions, and room/restaurant charges.
  6. Record room and tax revenues, as well as no-show charges, and prepare final account reports.
  7. Count and verify the cash bank at the start and end of each shift to ensure accuracy.
  8. Make regular deposits in accordance with established hotel procedures.
  9. Serve as the manager on duty during shifts.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned by management based on operational needs.
Qualifications and Skills
  1. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  2. Previous experience in clerical and cash handling roles is essential.
  3. Proficiency in computer and keyboard skills is necessary.
  4. Strong verbal communication skills are a must.
  5. Exceptional customer service abilities are required.
  6. A friendly, outgoing demeanor and strong interpersonal skills are essential.
Work Schedule

Shifts are typically from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m., with variations based on hotel occupancy. Weekend availability is required, and occasional overtime may be necessary during peak periods.
