Key Responsibilities

As an Engineer I/II, you will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions for rapid implementation projects. Your role will involve collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quick-build multimodal transportation infrastructure across various contexts. You will engage in project scope development, concept planning, and the creation of final construction documents using drafting software such as MicroStation. Your contributions will ensure that our projects maintain the highest standards of quality and effectiveness.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in civil or transportation engineering
  • 0+ years (Engineer I), 2+ years (Engineer II) of relevant design experience
  • Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (MicroStation/AutoCAD)
  • Interest in multimodal and active transportation design
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

Work Environment

This full-time position typically involves a flexible 40-hour work week, with the option to work remotely 2-3 days per week. As part of our collaboration with the City of Austin's Transportation Department, you will contribute to various Mobility Bond projects that enhance bikeway, pedestrian, and transit infrastructure.
