Job Overview: We are searching for a West Coast Sales Manager to join our team and lead our sales efforts in the foodservice industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key customers, developing new business opportunities, and driving sales growth in the Western United States.

As a skilled sales professional, you will have a proven track record of success in B2B sales, particularly in the foodservice sector. You will be able to leverage your expertise to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, while maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Your exceptional communication and negotiation skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and negotiate with decision-makers at major food retailers.

Responsibilities:
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY CUSTOMERS AND DECISION-MAKERS AT MAJOR FOOD RETAILERS
  • ANALYZE MARKET TRENDS AND CUSTOMER NEEDS TO INFORM SALES STRATEGIES
  • DEVELOP AND EXECUTE STRATEGIC PLANS TO DRIVE NEW BUSINESS GROWTH
  • METHODICALLY RESEARCH AND ANALYZE THE COMPETITION AND IDENTIFY OPPORTUNITIES FOR IMPROVEMENT


Salary: $85,000 annually, plus commission

Requirements:
  • BA degree or higher in a related field
  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in foodservice sales
  • Strong understanding of the food retail industry and its trends
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Prior experience working with food manufacturers is preferred
  • The ability to travel up to 20% of the time
