Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at the Child Development Center. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the social, physical, verbal, and cognitive development of our children. You will work collaboratively with our Family Services Team to ensure families receive the support they need to thrive.

Responsibilities
  • Classroom Management: Create and maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages learning and exploration.
  • Direct Service: Develop and implement lesson plans that meet the needs of our children, and build positive relationships with parents through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Program Support: Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, and provide support to families through our Family Services Team.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of experience in early childhood education
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days of hire)
  • Ability to problem-solve, multitask, and work independently
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current child development practices
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds
  • Proficiency in computer skills (Microsoft, SharePoint)
