Physician Researcher

Mayo Clinic is a world-renowned institution dedicated to delivering high-value care to patients with complex conditions. We are seeking a talented Physician with a research program to join our Department of Clinical Genomics in Rochester, MN.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead research projects in clinical genomics, focusing on innovative solutions to deliver high-value care.
- Collaborate with researchers and clinicians to design and conduct early feasibility and multi-center basic and translational research and clinical trials.
- Secure extramural funding and publish research findings in reputable scientific journals.
- Work with researchers on initiatives and priorities in AI, immunology, cancer, exposome, discovery science, and entrepreneurship at the Mayo campus.
- Board-certified MD or MD/PhD candidate with expertise in functional, translational, therapeutic, computational, and/or clinical trial research.
- Strong understanding of genetics and genomics, with experience in integrating novel technologies into clinical practice.
- Proven track record of collaborative science endeavors and a strong publication record.
