Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Program Manager to join our team at Seattle Children's. As a key member of our department, you will be responsible for managing, assessing, and enhancing the provision of mental health assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Department Directors, physicians, and clinical staff to develop and implement strategies for continuous quality improvement, customer service, and programmatic growth.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor staffing plans, scheduling, and staff development to meet current and anticipated needs.
  • Partner with departmental and hospital leadership to develop, integrate, and expand Psychiatry Consultation and Emergency Department Mental Health programs throughout the hospital and the region.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
  • Minimum of two years' experience providing direct treatment services.
  • Licensed as a Mental Health Professional in Washington State, licensed in appropriate field according to degree (e.g., LICSW, LMHC) or 5 years of equivalent experience with requirement to get licensed in appropriate field according to degree (e.g., LICSW, LMHC) within 1 year of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Experience with multi-system involved children with severe behavioral problems and/or developmental disabilities.
  • Experience with the King County MHP and Washington State Mental Health WACs.
