About This Role
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a local Massachusetts school district. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive hourly rate of $43-$48 based on experience and qualifications.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Enhance communication skills in students, helping them develop verbal and non-verbal communication essential for success in the classroom.
- Support students in areas such as memory, attention, and problem-solving to improve overall learning outcomes.
- Assist students who face swallowing challenges to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Provide alternative communication tools, empowering non-verbal students with resources like communication boards and speech-generating devices.
- Guide students in achieving healthy pitch, volume, and tone for clear and confident communication.
- Enable students to communicate effectively through both verbal and written means.
- Address issues related to articulation, fluency, and voice disorders to help students reach their full potential.
Requirements
- Masters degree in Speech and Communication Disorders or a related field.
- Previous experience in school-based or educational settings is preferred, though not required.
- Hold an active MA SLP license. Clinical Fellows are warmly encouraged to apply.
