Focus Staff is currently seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Alexandria, Louisiana. This exciting opportunity offers a competitive pay package and the chance to work with a reputable healthcare staffing agency.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated and skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist who can provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the success of our client's healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine and possess excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic nuclear medicine examinations using technical knowledge and good judgment to provide safe and effective patient care.
- Acquire and process patient studies, set up reading for physicians, and maintain accurate and complete daily records.
- Develop and implement procedures to improve department efficiency and reduce waste.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers, including patients, staff, and physicians.
- Current AHA Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
- BSN from an accredited nursing program and proper licensure.
- At least 2 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong knowledge of procedures and patient safety.
