Nuclear Medicine Technologist Part Time

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist plays a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety in the department. This position requires the ability to administer sound patient care practices, complete ancillary tasks, and maintain equipment and work areas in a neat and safe condition. Additionally, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist must demonstrate radiation protection and safety for patients, staff, and self, as outlined in department protocols and regulatory guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer patient care practices according to department and hospital policies/procedures.
Complete ancillary tasks to ensure efficient and consistent departmental operations.
Maintain equipment, exam rooms, and work areas in a neat and safe condition.
Demonstrate radiation protection and safety for patients, staff, and self.
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Associate's school/program of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
ARRT-N or CNMT obtained within one year of hire date. NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist within one year of hire date.
Experience in a hospital/healthcare environment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist/Student.
Basic Life Support upon start.
